Matt's Mower Repair

History

Matt's Mower Repair was founded by owner Matthew A. Namath in 2010. Matt is a 2007 graduate of Blackhawk High School and an active member of the Darlington Township Volunteer Fire Department. He has many hobbies, including camping, trap shooting, and caring for his dogs (Ruger and Tanner) and his cat (Kubota). Matt was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome when he was four years old.

He started working on lawnmowers and small engines in a single-stall garage at his grandmother's house, where he cared for her shortly after graduating high school. Matt taught himself what he knows about small engines and lawnmowers, and to further his skills he took an online course through Penn Foster and earned his Career Diploma in Small Engine Repair.

Once the business started to grow, space became an issue, so it moved to Adams Street in Chippewa Twp., where it's located today.
